About the campaign

From my experience of dealing with climate change, I believe that there will be no future unless we start cutting emissions now. Our natural and urban environment are key to the foundations of a future world.

I believe that everyone should have a voice no matter how old they are. It’s all about what the young people of Somerset think.

Objectives

• Research and survey young people’s opinions across the county
• Raise awareness of environmental challenges, through action on the current issues
• Create online resources, information and promotions, (such as a film, a workshop or activities, or a podcast) to encourage people to treasure the spaces around them
• Network with local organizations to promote the cause and help protect natural spaces
• Connect and liaise with Parish Councils, youth organizations and projects, to identify issues and explore what needs improving
• Create a final report outlining my campaign successes and potential for improvements to help others in their actions
