As it’s Earth Day, Ruby, one of our newest and youngest member of the Somerset Youth Parliament Advisory Group, has put together a great article on climate change.
Climate change and littering are affecting the ecosystem and the environment at an alarming rate. Over many years fossil fuels and wildfires (often in other countries) have damaged the conditions of the air we breathe. As time goes on, the world is being destroyed by human activity: driving, electronics, transportation, littering and landfills.
In the communities in the UK, not only have people experienced weather change or they might have seen their area become a dumping ground for litter. These problems are causing the destructions of Earth and wildlife deserves more respect from humans. Wildlife is a calming and fascinating aspect of our planet, so we need to work harder to save it.
Small changes can over time make considerable differences in the journey to save our planet. By turning off a light or walking to replace driving, you will have taken a step to save our planet.
