Swimming Safety
Ruby is a very caring, conscientious member of Youth Parliament. She is a great role model to her peers, and she likes to encourage safety. She also loves swimming!
Falling into a body of water, without the ability to swim is extremely dangerous. Clothes pull you down and drowning isn’t impossible. Luckily if you can swim, you can tread water while you wait for help or get to the riverbank or shore safely. Swimming can save your life.
Although lessons seem expensive, safety is very important.
Once you can swim, even wild swimming becomes fun and enjoyable. The cold helps your muscles, and swimming is just really fun. While swimming, you can enjoy a lovely landscape and a peaceful, refreshing time.
