You have the opportunity to vote to elect your three new Somerset Members of Youth Parliament, at this year’s Somerset Youth Parliament Elections.
Your Members of Youth Parliament will represent the voices of Somerset’s young people on a local and national stage as part of the UK Youth Parliament. Elected Members of Youth Parliament will each run a personal campaign of their choice, debate, influence important decisions, campaign for the needs of Somerset’s children and young people, working with community representatives and politicians to influence change and identify opportunities to improve things for you, as well as children and young people across the county.
Voting
If you live, go to school or college in Somerset & are aged 11-18 years, then you can vote in this year’s Somerset Youth Parliament Elections.
You can vote for up to three of the nominees and you must provide your date of birth, postcode and the name of the school, college or club that you attend.
Voting is available from Monday 17 November 2025 and closes on Friday 12 December 2025.
